Blake joins us from Eau Rouge Investment Managers where he was an investment analyst covering local and offshore stocks and funds with an equity-specific focus on banks and small-caps. As co-portfolio manager Blake was jointly responsible for the management of segregated mandate portfolios to high-net-worth individuals. Prior to this he began his career at Melville Douglas as part of the Standard Bank graduate program where he covered offshore equities as a junior analyst before moving into the broader Corporate Banking space in the bank as a manager in the Specialised Lending division. Blake began his studies at the University of Pretoria where he completed his BCom Investment Management undergraduate degree with distinction before going on to complete his BComHons in Investment Management. Blake is also a CFA charterholder.
